Lust List: June 2016

Hello, Hello! Can you believe it’s June already? This year is flying by so fast! June is probably my favourite month because a) it has my birthday in it and b) warmer weather, which means I am now ready to fill my days with lounging in the sun and sipping on some cocktails. Every month I find myself wanting/lusting over so many things. I don’t necessarily need them all but I simply can’t stop checking what’s new in beauty and fashion, both in stores and online. You can’t even imagine how hard it was to put only 15 items on this list. Let’s get started…

1. Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette: The 5-minute face on the go…how wonderful that does sound? I’m all about that quick makeup and this would be the perfect palette to take with you on holiday as it has everything you may need:  eyeshadows, bronzer, blushes and highlighter. A perfect kit for a day to evening transformation!
2. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder: If you are a beauty junkie you must be familiar with this product! Everyone is raving about how amazing this powder is for setting your makeup and giving the skin a smooth, flawless finish that lasts for hours.
3. Urban Decay Beached Bronzer: I’ve tested this bronzer in store and let me tell you..if you want to look like a golden goddess who just spent a week hanging out on a sunny beach, this is the perfect product for you.
4. Origins Maskimizer & Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask: This is a set that contains two products: a mask primer which is supposed to improve the effectiveness of clay, cream and sheet masks; and a face mask which contains active charcoal, an ingredient that acts like a magnet to draw out pore clogging impurities. I had a sample of this exact set and I fell in love with both the primer and the mask.
5. Alpha-H Liquid Gold: An award-winning facial treatment which targets discolouration, uneven skin tone, blemished and signs of ageing, leaving the skin radiant and youthful. If you’ve seen my review on Lush Mask of Magnaminty (if not then what are you doing with you life…click here and read it) you may know that my skin has been acting up recently and judging by the great reviews on this lotion, it might be worth trying it myself.
6. Kiehl’s Ultra Light Daily UV Defense: SPF if so important all year round but it is very hard for me to find a product that doesn’t feel greasy on my skin and that doesn’t break me out so I am constantly hunting for a sunscreen that is light and oil-free. Could this be the one for me?

1. Logo Baseball Cap by Ivy Park: I used to hate wearing something on my head when I was a child but now I’m very much into caps, hats, beanies or anything that could save me from a bad hair day.
2. High Heel Leather Sandals by Stradivarius: I am obsessed with footwear: flats, sandals, heels, boots, trainers…I love them all. I never owned a pair of sandals like this one before so I think it’s time to step up my shoe game.
3. Thin Velvet Choker by Freedom at Topshop: I was never a big fan of chokers but after seeing them on so many people I decided to just get one and see how it looks on me. They are quite flattering and they finish off an outfit perfectly. However, the clasp on my chocker was quite delicate and it broke so now I have to go buy another one.
4. Cross Bust Playsuit by Love: Playsuits are my favourite thing to wear during summer because they are so pretty and practical. There are so many different types and there is one to suit everyone and every occasion.
5. ASOS Oversized Blouse In Contemporary Print: Ughh ASOS…I could literally be on their website for hours and not get tired of looking at clothes. I fell in love with this shirt. It looks really lightweight and I like the print and the fact that it’s oversized.
6. Veracruz Ruffle Top by Bershka: I know so many people pulling off these off-the-shoulder crop tops and I stumbled into this one from Bershka which looks really fun and summery.

I’ve recently discovered a website called where I found all of the items above and many, many other cute things but I decided to stick to just 3 of them for this list. Coconut Lane delivers chic homeware and fashion accessories at really affordable prices so if you are into jewellery, stationary or decorations, this is the place to shop.
I hope you enjoy my June wish list as much as I do and let me know what are you lusting for this month!
