Spectrum Collections have taken the world by storm with the most “Instagrammable” brushes we have ever seen. At first I was worried I spent my money on nothing because I couldn’t bring myself to actually start using these brushes. I got the white Marbleous 12 piece set back in November when Spectrum Collections had an amazing Black Friday deal or Pink Wednesday, how they like to call it. Everything about this set is just dreamy! From the look of the brushes, to how they work, all 12 of them are an absolute delight.
Can we just take a second and admire this gorgeous set? Spectrum Collections are well know for creating stunning brushes but major props to them for the Marbleous set which is very aesthetically pleasing for all beauty bloggers out there. It comes with five luxe face brushes and a collection of their seven best selling eye, brow and lip brushes. All 12 of them have a stunning finish- a blend of grey, rose gold and white. A blogger’s favourite colours, right?
Here’s what brushes you get in the set:
A00- Luxe Powder– hands down my favourite face brush. It is ideal for applying powder all over your face and it works great with both compact and loose products.
C07- Luxe Tapered Sculptor– this was designed for setting your under-eye area but I personally use it to bronze my skin and I think it does an amazing job at that.
A02- Angled Foundation– I don’t normally use brushes to blend my foundation but I’ve tried this one out and I love how easy it is to buff the product into the skin and get a nice, even finish.
C02- Flat Top Contour– just like the name suggests, this brush is perfect for contouring, especially if you want to get that really sharp line under your cheekbones.
A05- Precision Brush– this is an angled brush and in my opinion can be used for various things such as contouring precisely (precision….precisely, pun intended, I like to make myself laugh) or with blush, which is how I use it.

B05- Luxe Blender– what I like to call a multi-functional tool, this brush can be used for blending eyeshadows, contouring around your nose or buffing in your concealer, you name it.
B06- Tall Tapered Blender– this absolute gem makes blending out eyeshadows so easy. It is so soft and and you’ll never be left with any harsh lines even when it comes to smokey eyes.
A07- Stubby Shader– what a shady name for a brush. I like to use this one for building up colour in my outer corner and sometimes I use it all over the lid.
A12- Fluffy Pencil– the ideal applicator for areas which need more precision. It does an amazing job at blending darker colours in the outer corner.
A13- Short Smudge– if you like to give your eyes a nice, sultry finish, then you need this brush in your life. You’re in for a perfectly smudged look when using it on the lash line and waterline.
A14- Brow Definer– an amazing tool that will help your eyebrows look on point every single day. This brush has a double purpose as it can be used for eyeliner as well.
A15- Lip Definer– a must-have if you’re going for a bold lip colour and you want it to look impeccable. This brush is your answer if you’re looking for precision when it comes to your lipstick.

I’ve been using this set religiously for over two months now and I’ve fallen in love with every single brush. I washed them a few times and they still feel and look as perfect as they did when I took them out of their packaging. And speaking of packaging, Spectrum Collections doesn’t fail to deliver. The brushes came in a see-through plastic pink envelope and all 12 of them had their own individual clear packaging.
I think it’s a fact that the design is a masterpiece but the quality of the brushes is amazing too! They are incredibly soft, they have just the right density and even after several washes none of the bristles fell out. What more can you ask from this Marbleous (or more like marvellous) set? They are all synthetic, which is something I prefer when it comes to makeup brushes, and more brownie points go to Spectrum for being vegan and cruelty-free.
I got my set when it was on sale but it currently retails for £64.99. These are by far the most expensive brushes I own but when you come across such an amazing quality and an unique look, every penny is completely justified.
What are your thoughts on the Marbleous set? Have you tried any brushes from Spectrum Collections?
