Pixi Beauty + ItsJudyTime: ItsEyeTime Palette

I’ve been a massive fan of Judy Travis for as long as I can remember. She is one of my all time favourite youtubers and I’ve been watching her videos for almost five years now. If you don’t know who she is then you can check out her beauty channel here, although her vlogs are my favourite (and they are daily). I really admire her for the way she’s balancing her successful career with her other full-time job: raising three little girls and being a wife. When she announced her collaboration with Pixi Beauty for an eyeshadow palette and a lip palette, I was over the moon. As I am not a huge fan of lip palettes, I only ordered the eyeshadow one and here is my honest opinion on it.

The packaging is not something out of this world but what I do like about it is that you can see the eyeshadows through the lid. It also comes with a little mirror (which I haven’t photographed, oopsie) and you can attach it wherever you want. Inside there are 12 eyeshadows and I am very pleased with the colour selection. There is a great variety of browns in there in both matte and shimmery finishes, a blue-toned black and a champagne gold shade. You can create so may looks with this palette, from a natural eye to a sultry, smokey look, this palette gives you a lot of options.

If you watch Judy’s daily vlogs you would understand where all these names come from. I’ve never owned any makeup product from Pixi Beauty. Actually, I’ve never owned anything from Pixi Beauty except for my beloved Glow Tonic, so I didn’t know what to expect from these eyeshadows, quality wise.

Turns out this is a really nice product. I’ve been using this palette everyday ever since I got it and I am absolutely in love with it. The colours are really pigmented and they blend super easily which is exactly what I’m looking for in an eyeshadow. I am really bad at describing formulas but the only two words that come to my mind when I play with this palette are smooth and silky, so there you have it. I use brushes to apply the eyeshadows, although Judy recommends that you can use your fingers as well. Another thing that I like about this palette is that there’s hardly any fallout which makes it really easy to apply and blend the eyeshadows and you end up with a much cleaner look. Here are some swatches I did on my bare skin, without any primer:
L-R: Snowflake; Bubbly; Itsmommyslife; Good Morning; Brick; Honey Bear

L-R: Tu Tu, Getaway, Ping, Dark Chocolate; Aww Snap; Night Night

My top 3 favourite shades, that I use almost everyday for my go-to look are: Snowflake (on the lid), Good Morning (in my crease) and Tu Tu (in the outer corner). Overall, this is a great palette and it was definitely worth those £28 pounds I spent on it. Pixi Beauty did a great job with this collaboration with Judy and it made me curious about other makeup products from this brand that I would like to try in the near future.

These sort of colours really suit you though! I've never tried pixi beauty products either. I've heard good things about them and I've never heard of this youtuber before? This palette sounds pretty good though 🙂
